On the AK hand, I think the small preflop 4bet is either 1) to find out if you have AA KK or QQ, and this will give opp a good idea what to do on flop u could still have AQ 99 10’s JJ’s, most opp would expect a 5 bet similar to AA or KK with AK in tourny, or 2) 4beting small pre with any two suited cards, to get a read on how strong you really are, specially if u dont trap often, and value betting 1/2 is standard as semi(spades) as well as air, now the donk 1/4 bet on turn is a very cheap way to get alot of info because u really should be pushing or folding IMO… Also getting it in on turn is more standard because there is a flush draw and you want value from KQs or any K really, he could easy have J10spades QJspades, u call, half ur chips are in, your never folding anyways and a spades comes its bad for u altogether cause he may have spades and you called turn without push (odd) so you may have spades he might not bluff if spade comes.. Overall i think wen some1 bets half flop, and donk bets the same 1/4 pot turn they are ALWAYS expecting a push or fold at that point, if you just call I think your freezing them as they may realize u have AA KQs or underpair to K or even maybe AQ spades, not worth an air push on river…

Great ep. The discussion could have gone much longer before it got boring. I am really excited at the possiblilty that you two may trade eps w/ the Dangs.
It seemed like PG had no check fold/bet fold on that turn w/ JJ. I would love to see other examples from the match that lead him to that read.
